She claims that it is difficult for most performers in the diaspora to succeed in the music industry without the help of a manager.

WE NORMALLY WANT OUR SONGS TO BE PROMOTED BACK HOME BUT TO GET THE RIGHT AND COMPETENT PERSON TO WORK WITH IS VERY DIFFICULT. YOUR HOME GROUND SHOULD ALWAYS BE A STARTING POINT, IF YOU’RE ACCEPTED, THE WORLD ACCEPTS YOU EASILY” HE TOLD NANA REAGAN IN AN INTERVIEW.
“WHEN YOU RELEASED SONGS YOU NEED MANAGERS TO GUIDE YOU IN YOUR PROMOTIONAL STRATEGIES SO YOU DON’T JUST DO THINGS DESPERATELY AND BE LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. YOUR BUDGETS FOR PROJECTS NEED TO BE PROPERLY MANAGED TO BRING YOU VALUE AND ALSO TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS”. SHE ADDED.
Betty, who is presently promoting her second song, “Born To Reign,” after “My Blessing Is Now,” hopes to release an album soon with Media Excel and prays that all singers in the diaspora find the appropriate and capable team to work with while they abroad.
