Elder Francis Agyei
Early Life and Education
Born in the Kwahu north district specifically AKROSO in the eastern region to Mr. KWEKU AGYEI AND MADAM HELENA SERWAH, ELDER FRANCIS AGYEI begun his music career at an early age, joining various singing groups in the church of Pentecost.
He became a worship leader at quiet a tender age of 12year, leading call to worship and praises at various conventions and crusades.
Music Career
Elder Francis Agyei first break into the music scene with the recording of three albums with a group called KINGS GOSPEL, a multi-talented group where he was the group leader with the church of Pentecost Mary villas Assembly in Accra.
After a successful recording with the kings group in 1987 FRANCIS AGYEI was officially signed to the Despite Music Record label in 1993/94 and recorded major hits including the songs METWERE OBOTANBI under the heading the Pentecostal praises volume one and two respectively.
In 1999 Francis Agyei under the able support of the church and some key personalities got the opportunity to travel to Canada and record his first international live recording with a mass choir LIVE IN TORONTO ,songs as GOD IS SOO GOOD was recorded which became the world number one hits.
