Stella was born to Mr. Theophilus Seal of British and Cameroonian parentage and Madam Violet Addo from Anum Boso in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Stella started her basic education at the Accra New Town 4 School in Accra New Town, a suburb of Accra, and then proceeded to Kotobabi 2 Middle School also in Kotobabi, a suburb of Accra. She furthered her education at Accra Polytechnic, where she trained as a secretary after her GCE ‘O’ levels in 1981 at the City Secondary and Business College at Caprice in Accra.
Music Career
In addition to her flourishing music career, Estelle is actively involved in community work, particularly in the areas of youth development and beauty services.
Estelle embarked on her professional music journey 21 years ago, demonstrating her longstanding commitment to her craft. With one album and five singles released, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Selina Boateng, Joe Mettle, and Nacee.
Her musical talent has been recognized with accolades, including the prestigious Best Female Vocalist Diaspora Award at the 2023 Praise Achievement Awards held in Ghana, underscoring her vocal prowess and contribution to the music scene.
In her personal and professional life, Estelle draws inspiration and guidance from her faith, citing Jesus Christ as her ultimate mentor. She also values the mentorship and support provided by her husband and mother, who play significant roles in her journey. Estelle Safowaa continues to captivate audiences with her music while making a meaningful difference in her community through her various endeavors.
